EQUINE GROOMING FUNDAMENTALS CLASS
Dr. McLellan will be teaching an intensive 3-day equine grooming fundamentals clinic at Northshore Technical Community College, Florida Parishes Campus, Greensburg, La March 17-19. This clinic will discuss the relationship of a horse's instinctive bahavior to the safe grooming and handling of horses. Individuals that would like to be employed in the growing equine industry. Instruction will be given regarding handling problem horses and will be especially beneficial for volunteers of equine charities and individuals that take care of their own horses. Tuition for this class is $150 and will include a full color textbook and handouts, refreshments at breaks and lunch provided by NTCC's award winning culinary arts program.

EQUINE INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP.
Immediately following the Fundammentals clinic Dr. McLellan will conduct a Teacher Certification workshop for anyone teaching students about horses.  Particularly designed to license instructors in the nationally recognized Groom Elite program, this workshop will also discuss High School programs, programs in correction facilities and private lessons for both adults and juveniles.
